I dont understand why the Chinesse want hm so much, like why him? I dont get it, hes ugly, acts like a cry baby, yes he is good but there are loads of players who are just as good but he seems to be top of the want list. If he goes we should ask for a similar fee.

Poor service into him but aside from his goals which by and large have been important for a team like ours with no other goalscorers, I can't see the top clubs (Chelsea - unless Costa is sold, United, City etc) putting bids in. Maybe he's keeping his best displays for his dream club but I don't get the hype and never will so good luck to the lad.

His agent dropped a bollock when he demanded a £70m release clause, he couldn't have made it clearer that he could get a buyer at that price, the club have played them both and I'll bet my bottom dollar that he is here on September 2nd.

He actually didn't though, at least in the second half. He was one of the only players to make anything remotely interesting happen in their box at all. Our supporting forwards were so bad we had to put him on the right and ask him to do their job for them. Predictably when he then delivered two cracking crosses, none of them were anywhere near them.
