he's one of the best strikers around if the a whole team is prepared to cover his work load. theres not many top teams in Europe that can afford that luxuory. Every player has to put a shift in, every single game. For this reason alone i honestly dont think the real big teams would want him. maybe only a PSG would come after him infact.
Funny thing is though mate, Lukaku is just a natural goalscorer - and those are rare as anything - only two i've seen comparable would be Lineker and Shearer for just putting away any chance he gets.
Your correct that to get the best out of him - a team would need to play to his strengths - but the same can be said about a huge amount of top players, look at Rodriguez at Madrid for example - a relative flop due to being played out of position slightly to accommodate 'better' players.
It's Belgiums main problem, they have Lukaku, Hazzard and De Bruyne and they seem caught between whose strengths to play too, ending up in a team which doesn't look like it has any set idea of what it's doing - despite the abundance of talent (and not a Martinez fault that - as it was that way under the previous numpty they had in charge).
Here's a thought though, United under Ferguson when they had Ruud van Horse head playing where a brilliant team and a balanced one as well, RVN was very much a similar type/style player to Lukaku and it worked because they had a manager who understood just how rare it is to have a striker that lethal and that the team is better when it focuses on playing to his strengths.
All moot anyway as think he will sign a new contract - stay AT LEAST one more season and will have a option in his contract allowing him to move next summer should be fail to deliver in terms of investment and progression as a team (on and off the pitch)
