He makes 2 mistakes all game, 1 leading to a goal (extremely unfortunate as he simply slips, doesn't slip then he saves it) and everyone is losing their mind and either wanting pickford back or saying he's not good enough. Crazy

He got his feet wrong, it happens.

Pickford does something similar at least once a game.

And the defence completely stood off him, allowing a player of his quality all the time in the world to place the ball exactly where he wanted to put it.

Should've done better tonight – didn't read the second and lost his footing on the third. Neither of those are even comparable with anything from Pickford's endless blooper reel though.

He was still out of position, it wasnt a thunderbolt. It went straight over his head.

He is still a better option than Pickford but he had a poor game.

Would like to see Robin Olsen getting at least a couple more chances in goal before he comes in for the inevitable criticism that's heading his way. Olsen wasn't the only one who had a bad evening; Holgate had a terrible first half, Digné struggled to pick out a decent pass at first and his defending was poor too, Richarlison continued with one of his below-par performances, and how many of us were hoping that James would be replaced for the second half?

I don't think Robin Olsen will turn out to be the answer to our goalkeeper problem (time will tell), but I do think he is a decent enough alternative to Jordan Pickford right now.

Made some decent stops tonight too such as the shot from Shaw and stood up well to Rashford’s hit. Can’t legislate for a slip and really shouldn’t have been beaten from that distance for the 2nd. Not the best night but no real calamity moments. Not sure he’s the long term solution but I’d keep him as backup and move Pickford on

Yeah this, its a moment of absolute quality from Fernandes. Olsen is where he should be, Fernandes just put it where nobody will get it.
