Would like to see Robin Olsen getting at least a couple more chances in goal before he comes in for the inevitable criticism that's heading his way. Olsen wasn't the only one who had a bad evening; Holgate had a terrible first half, Digné struggled to pick out a decent pass at first and his defending was poor too, Richarlison continued with one of his below-par performances, and how many of us were hoping that James would be replaced for the second half?
I don't think Robin Olsen will turn out to be the answer to our goalkeeper problem (time will tell), but I do think he is a decent enough alternative to
Jordan Pickford right now.
