Martinez is a bloody brilliant fella. Would Moyes ever have engaged with the fans this way? No way. One of DM's biggest negatives, especially in the final few years, was how internal he was. Wouldn't give supporters the time of day or make us feel valued, or at least he didn't appear too in my opinion. Martinez has managed to put a smile on everyone's face and get us upbeat again, for that he deserves tonnes of credit.

Amazing stuff Everton. Martinez getting involved is just brilliant, he's caught the bug and knows what it means to be chosen. Remember the old woman from Wembley a couple of years ago getting carried up the Wembley steps by fellow Evertonians? this kind of reminds me of that. Annie is boss!

Merry Christmas blues!

Class. And some awesome responses, from the quote Tex already posted to "Dixie", because at 93, she was lucky enough to have seen the man.

When they do things in this way the club live up to NSNO.

It's not just about football, our club, but what it means to belong as an Evertonian to a family , community.

(As opposed to the cult over the park)

Well done Everton FC, very proud to be a blue

nice stuff from the club and Martinez. However, Im sure other managers and clubs does the same.

They don't mate, Liverpool certainly don't. Liverpool do very little for the local community, they just lean on their foreign fans. They're not arsed about locals because all the tourists fill their ground. As long as that happens they're not bothered, they're only bothered about money. There's an article in one of the papers today mentioning how other clubs are looking on in envy at the community & togetherness work Everton do. It was mentioned how they were amazed that Everton get their players to do things like this & the singing video.

We are unique. The Annie visit will be on Sky Sports News at some point as the mic was SSN as was the interviewer, Peter Stevenson.
