It's not entitlement or Kopite behaviour to demand more than mid table mediocrity for this club. It's not entitlement or kopite behaviour to want Everton FC back where it should be and that's competing with the elite of football again and winning league titles.:) I'll just say what i feel here.FA cup or no FA cup i just cannot see Roberto taking this club back to the level where it belongs.

He'll get a lot worse abuse at Goodison and likely the pit but its a bit out of order to have a go at him when he's watching the U21s. One of his better qualities is that he takes an interest in developing younger players. He doesn't need to be there tonight, and plenty of managers in his position would have stayed well away.

What's purported to have happened? If it's a fan venting frustrations about the team then that's what happens and he has to deal with it.

I'll say it was bang out of order if it was a personal/threatening attack though.

A lot of chat saying the worst it got was 'get out of our club'. Hardly deep personal abuse.

In fact if people slating him on here, anonymous behind keyboards, aren't prepared to meet the man and tell him what they think [and then pass judgment on an Evertonian from a photo-still ffs, not even a video) then they are the bigger snides.

You'd swear Roberto was working for Everton on a voluntary basis, some fan tells him to get lost and some would swear the fan had just dropped kicked mother Theresa back to Calcutta. As long as he hasn't received physical abuse then the fan is well within his rights to voice his opinion. 72% of fans on this thread want him gone so someone was bound to have a pop verbally at him sometime.

I'm made up people are angry about it. The worry would be if people weren't getting wound up about the position we find ourselves in.

I'd imagine Martinez completely expects that kind of reaction, and he gets paid very well to put up with it.

Hes definitely a goner in my eyes.

The echo articles reek of the club driving an agenda.

The Biesla article and Danny Mills article; the mouthpiece of Everton wouldnt allow those to be printed should they wish for the manager to remain.

Gone by the next bad defeat in my eyes; if not, summer by mutual consent.

For his own relationship with the fans he's got to go. The board need to have some decency in this and thank Bob for his service but make it clear he's not good enough for a top 7 premier league side with CL ambitions and let him go.

No good can come out of the situation staying as it is. Even if he wins the FA Cup what happens next season when we are 12-15th in the league again and the fans are all on his back? Come on Moshiri/Kenwright pull the trigger and do the decent thing as Martinez seems a decent fella and it would be a shame if things start to go ugly ie. Tim Howard and the fans.

It's becoming totally un-Everton.

The position of manager at Everton is one that deserves respect whatever you think about his performance....his employers will make judgement on that, not disgruntled fellas at an U-21 game. If you want to encourage a new Manager then showing him publically the abuse he'll get if things don't go well may well shorten the queue of applicants.

It's not good.
