I think it's just a matter of facts reasserting themselves over irrational fume.

It's been a long two week break from PL football and that allowed a lot of tortured souls to vent their grievances.

Let's be honest here, that hasn't happened. Fans are reacting to two seasons worth of crap results and clueless tactics. If the next manager comes in and loses his first 12 games, will you still be saying we need to be patient and give him time?

Just look at the date on the first post of this thread. It was a polarizing hire.

To your second point. If we are anywhere near relegation, we should be looking to change. We have not been near relegation for over a decade.

A bit brendan Rodgers this, holding onto one good season and neglecting everything else.

His win percentage over the last 18 months is atrocious, there's no other excuses. The football on offer is dire for the majority of games, the odd one we look like ace...A bit like wigan. And the Gary Neville thing has just put the icing on the cake for this clown.
