are we to now have thread police, ensuring that posters maintain an adequate ratio of posts in non-kirkby related threads to those they've made in kirkby related threads? how comical!

I've been walking a tightrope on 50 infraction points until today. I'm saying nothing.

 it's like those who post in threads about kirkby to complain about threads about kirkby - it's not as though anybody's obliged to read them!

Oh I'm sorry I dont have the Kirkby move playing 24-7 in my head when I watch the team play. Project what the club should be doing, promote the right way the club should be doing things, how to manage their finances, how to run their club..sorry the peoples club ie my club, our club. Bemoan the loss of the soul of the club, the loss of identity, the raping of our future fanbase, the fact we could never fill a 50,000 seater stadium, that we should turn Goodison into the Wembley of the north because its what we deserve due to our history - that it is possible but the club just dont see it when all us fans do as clear as day, that Ken-wrong will burn this club to the ground because he and his shady boardmembers and shareholders are their just to rape the club and make a quick buck, that the atmosphere is the best in the country regardless of any views, facilities etc and that should never change, ever because we sell out the ground week in week out, riding high on the attendence table in the league.....

Sorry because I personally gained gratification from seeing Saha score a belter of a goal against West Brom and after spending £34 on a ticket, £30 on a replica shirt, £40 on ale, and whatnots to get to the ground. I'd like to talk about that.

But that's not good enough is it...because apparantly im in the lower IQ bracket being that I dont "understand" a word you say.

Or could that be misunderstood as being - 1) I dont agree with you. 2) There's more to talk about the team and club than just Kirkby. 3) Why are you not discussing it on your own forum? OR are you just spreading the good news on Evil Kirkby to let everybody know the "real deal" the reality, the bottom line that everyone with lower IQ's dont understand.

Yes, low IQ. Get off your high horse mate and onto your 1 paragraph fanzone Observer write up on the matches.

Post of the month mate! (y)

I believe that Kirby is vital to securing outside investment. It is this outside investment that will secure our short-term financial future.

Why would serious well researched investors, looking to make a return, buy a club just moved to a stadium where a good proportion of it's fanbase won't go and where the remaining fanbase will steadily erode ?

Why would seriously rich investors, looking for a prestige buy, consider a club stuck out on the periphery housed in a lego block hovel ?

There are only some short term financial futures that are seeking to be secured here, and that of the club overall isn't one of them.

By the way....

Clearly:

Dude with letter on forum = correct,

Hazel Blears = wrong.

Glad that clears that up.

...looks like the Dude on the other forum had a point. :P

Firstly I think that a well researched investor won't take opinion as if it was fact. Unless of course you have some research greater than "all me mates in the pub won't go to Kirkby".

You also forget to point out that Kirkby is a hotbeat of Everton suppport. So, nobody from there will be going to the match then?

The stadium is based on a stadia used in the world cup in Germany, and wil be built by a company used to building stadia. Its not being built by Ikea ~ despite attempts to portray the stadia as such.
