Think we can all tell now that Dithering Dave has definitely left Everton and now Robbie the Rocket takes mantle in the transfer market with a host of other names to follow... his biggest task looks set to keep Bainsey come one Robbie!

....."Everton is the team to follow,
Cos Robbie is better than the red headed fella,
He's the best little Spaniard we know".........

We have aigned a 29 year old striker, a free transfer and a keeper.

Hang on while I just party past myself.

Difference is Moyes 'dithered' over quality. Mirallas Lescott Pienaar - these transfers all took time because they were for quality players at cheap prices. quick transfers usually occur either when you are throwing a load of money at the problem (certainly not us) or you are buying players from rubbish teams who are absolutely desperate to join you. I think the three lads he's signed will turn out alright for us, but I don't see this as an indicator of Martinez somehow beating Moyes. Moyes' transfer record was outstanding here and if his 'dithering' was a part of that then so be it as he bought a quality of player that Martinez would do very well to match. If we bought a player tomorrow who was half as good as Arteta was for double the price he was we'd all be elated with that. We were spoilt in our transfer dealings under Moyes. Let's hope Roberto can maintain that tradition - decent start so far.

I just want a signing that will have me on my feet, a Honda or I would even settle for a Moses ffs.

Absolutely. Point in case being Super Kev (Mirallas) on deadline day last summer. Fantastic signing at a fantastic price.
