Not for me anymore. Used to rate him, but personally think he's over the hill as a player. The amount of playing time he got at the Redshite and now at Spurs, is prove of that, I think.

I think Rafael did ruin him. He probably tried too hard there too because it was his boyhood club. He did score 12 goals in 16 games for Celtic earlier this year though. Redknapp seems to prefer to play a target man and then either Defoe close by or Van Der Vaart behind. Harry still says what a good player he is and that he keeps up a positive attitude in training, but that he doesn't fit the system he wants to play.

In my opinion, he would lift the dressing room and the training ground. There must only really be the likes of us and Villa who would be interested.

Maybe you're right. Not denying his ability, as said I used to rate him. Still not convinced he's the answer to our problems though. Just a shame we can't afford Adebayor. Now there's a striker, I'd love to see leading the line for us.

If we gonna deal with Spurs this January, I'd prefer to swap Pienaar with Kranjcar over Keane tbh.

Kevin Campbell, Louis Saha, David Weir, Richard Gough, Alan Stubbs, Lee Carsley, Nigel Martyn, Tim Howard, Phil Neville, Mikel Arteta, Manuel Fernandes...how were them rejects for you?!

I thought that name was banned on every Everton forum in existence - along with Roman Riquelme :P

Keane, sadly, is by a mile a better striker than anything we have on the books right now. He links midfield and attack, which Yak/Saha/Beckford don't do in any way. He'd literally have to be played in a 4-4-2 though - so unless Moyes has a massive change of heart over his 4-5-1 Forever policy, or he's sacked, don't get your hopes up.

I'd actually like to see a Keane/Yakubu or Keane/Beckford partnership up top. Would work well. Dunno where Cahill would slot in but...

I dont think he's what we need. It would be sweet if we got him and he did the business for us though. The Kopites would be going crazy.

I'd swap for Pienaar, but that would be it.
Could always get him on a 3 year deal and sell him for a million. With Pienaar, we get nothing.

Also, would love Keane to score a winner against the RS!
He would be a short term fix at best.

Pre-Liverpool, I would have bit your hand off.

Seriously, something just went wrong with him after going to Anfield, he's just NOT been the same since.

Try a loan deal, would rather take Krancjar or sod it, Pav.

Saggy has already said the there will not be any loan deals involving Robbie Keane, though that would have been the way to go for Everton. Krancjar or Keane? Moyes should ask for both!

If we were to sign him in a swap for Pienaar on a similar deal there would be minimal risk. Even if Redknapp would allow it, if he came to us on loan and played a blinder, we then wouldn't be able to afford him.

I do like Kranjcar. Having a player like him in the side would make us very narrow though. Does he offer that much more than Bily, if we can get the best out of him?

Yep!!!!!!

Having two has-been strikers isn't enough for some people.

As I keep saying, Teddy Sheringham is available on a free.
