Ross got a huge cheer against Kiev when he closed down the defender high up the pitch and blocked the clearance. They appreciated his hard work and desire to win the ball back, something he has not shown this season. You may have to have confidence to try things on the pitch, but you dont need confidence to put in a shift.

A few reasons mate.

Bigger clubs will want them for a start. United need a right back, and I can't think of a better one than Coleman. Arsenal are really crying out for McCarthy in their midfield.

It's mainly them two I can see going.

And Mirallas but that's obvious.

The transfers would make sense.

However, I think if we did sell those players to those clubs, we'd get crazy money for them. Neither player is replaceable from our current squad.

Man U is Man U when it comes to overpaying.

McCarthy has been with Martinez for years, a manager who says he is the one essential player in our team. He'd want to make sure he got a good price for him.

Although I do think we'll keep them both actually.

Oh yeah, if they do go they'll go for way over the odds.

One bit of praise I do give Everton is that we are quite good at selling over market value. In the main.

Obviously I don't want either to go. But fear at least one will.

Well Mirallas basically is in limbo on chance we get CL, so i'll definitely account that he could potentially be leaving.

Coleman I could see leaving, but only because the money we could squeeze out of him would be the most profitable? I don't mean that as in the highest fee for a single player, but more in terms of the fact that his key position in the team this year has subsided and it's not like we gloat on about him like we do Barkley in terms of potential. Coleman is a solid player who i'd love to keep but if a decent money bid came in, I can see how we might sell.

McCarthy imo, has shown no signs of wanting to leave, and will go nowhere. No chance. He's here with Bobby.

Lukaku won't leave. We won't allow him to leave, it would take something ridiculous. He's under contract for some years and we will make much more money later down the line - we also wouldn't be able to replace him at this moment of time.

Anybody else?

I can't see Lukaku or Barkley leaving. Not yet.

Barkley's stock has fallen a little this season which is good for us as I fully expect him to be back being boss next season.

We'll get another 2 seasons out of Lukaku at least I'm sure.

Coleman and McCarthy are risks. Stones might attract bids too.

Ffs.

Stones will definitely attract but can't see him going anywhere either. Unless it was like an astronomical fee.

That's the problem mate. Even McCarthy, if Arsenal come in with say £30m I can't see is turning that down.

And sadly, it would be a pretty decent move for him.

Ffs again.

....It's about time Barkley took responsibility for his own game, his performances continue to be poor and top players have the will to turn that around. No more excuses.

Agree with this almost 100%.

Barkley needs to use the criticism to grow, not sulk. He does have exquisite talent, it just needs unlocking and the only one holding him back is himself right now.
Don't think Martinez is helping him much either .
