A week or so ago I sort out this from the 1970 World Cup. It's sublime. I can't begin to imagine many Pele and Brazil could have scored if they had put every chance away and the refereeing hadn't been so lenient.

RIP. The Greatest.

I think the biggest lesson we can all learn is the inevitability of death. Yesterday we were teenagers. Today we are much older. Tomorrow we are in our death beds. Death can be truly scary.

RIP. The greatest. Did so much to make the game truly global IMO. I will always remember those iconic posters of him in the 1970 WC wearing Pumas.

Pele was a Word superstar in an age before social media and saturation TV football coverage. Blokes my age were all Pele when playing footy in the street & local parks. Count myself lucky to have seen him play at Goodison in 1966. Respected as a player and as a gentleman throughout the World. RIP Edson Arantes do Nascimento. X
