3 years today. All you old school Kippers will remember him, i know Danny does. My thoughts are with his friends and family. Rest in peace Macca
Top top man. Seen his crash before I realised it was him. Got home and checked my phone "Paul Mac has had a crash". Shed a tear.
Two quick stories of Paul.
1. WBA away. We couldn't park anywhere. Paul decides to take ownership and starts directing. Minutes later we're right outside the stadium. "No chance of parking here" - "Have faith....", he says, as we're nearly mulling down match day fans. We pulled in to this factory yards away from the stadium, signs everywhere saying "No parking allowed", "Clamping" etc. "We can't leave it here" - Paul insists we can. Before we get out we hear "Oi, have you got a pass?", straightaway, Paul whips out a plane piece of paper, folds it to the size of a bank card and just shows it out the window and shouts yes, followed by "right lads, told you. Sorted. Now on to the Vine, curry on tap"
2. Bolton away. Last game of the season when we finished 4th. Arranged to meet at a pub en route to collect mine (and 4 of my mates tickets). Bottling it a bit thinking I could let the lads down, we went anyway. Stopped of at this pub, I asked Paul if he knew were the guy was with the tickets. Before answering, he goes "Ang on lad, aren't you
*Kipper username* (when I used to use it). He then starts chanting it, with what seemed like hundreds joining in. Legend, got me a drink and made sure I got my tickets.
Top sense of humour and a top top Blue. RIP Paul.
