Glad to see this has resolved itself. Don't want to see posters misunderstanding each other and falling out.

Well, let's just agree to disagree. Personally, I cannot see Georgia or Ukraine in NATO, it sounds far-fetched.

They both tried to join about 6 years ago, and were rejected because the French didn't want to upset Russia (to whom they sell arms). Then the change in Ukraine government switched their focus back to Russia, and it's people were wary of NATO anyway. Of course then Russia invaded Georgia and has done similar now to Ukraine and by doing so has managed to get both of their Governments and it's peoples desperately wanting to join. As you say, let's agree to disagree, but it will happen.........

Well, it was at least 7 NATO members that opposed Ukraine and Georgia joining NATO at the time but yeah, we'll have to disagree on this one.
