Here is a fact....the best taco's are the ones where you really don't want to know where they got the 'meat' from.....

True - street vendors - a bit of chorizo (maybe), a little cliantro and some chopped onion. Class.

So all this talk of tacos has got me organising a mexican night this weekend.

I want recipes please.

I'll be doing Chorizo al vino (don't care if it's more spanish than mexican, its amazing), tacos, guacamole and quesadillas.

Anyone got any good recipes for any of the above? Any good salsas? Anything mexican-ish?

I have 2 bottles of tequila and I'll be dusting the Twister off for later on....

You need for sure, finely diced onions and tomato.

And for the authentic taco experience: habanero salsa.

Get yourself a Corona, pop a slice of lime in through the bottle top and lie back and think of super beaches, nasty drug cartel battles, corrupt police and spring break.

I remember having Beer Battered Fish Tacos when I lived in San Diego. One meal I always try to find when we go over there on holiday. I've never tried to make them at home, I'm keeping this as a holiday treat, but I'm sure someone will find you a recipe. Good luck.
