I'm interested though. What do the taco afficionados use for the taco shell? All we get here are the crunchy corn, dorito style ones. Nice like, but obviously not authentic.

I'm having them tomorrow, can't wait.

Jalapenos, red and green. Sour cream. Nice salsa with some of those Ring of Fire chillis that cute older woman gave me. Maybe a bit of cheese.

Ah, tacos. Our LA Galaxy supporter's group has hired a taco cart on many occasions. The tortillas are small soft corn, maybe 5 inches in diameter. Fillings are carne asada (steak), pollo (chicken), or carnitas (pork) most commonly. Top with some chopped onions and cilantro and some hot salsa. Mmm...

I may be of Japanese descent, but growing up in LA, I've eaten more tacos than sushi over my lifetime.

Heatmeister, if you can get small corn tortillas, those are the authentic ones. If you ever make it out to LA, I'll hook you up with some authentic tacos.

Oh, and TX Bill, those JITB tacos are the most awesome late night food post pub crawl. After bacon wrapped hot dogs, that is.

Barburrito used to do hard and soft tacos in their Manchester branch so i'm guessing you can get them in the Liverpool 1 branch as well. Bit of advice for UK members who want some authentic Mexican food; steer clear of that Old El Paso crap.

The nearest Jack is in Pennsylvania. Bit of a drive for a 99cent Moster Taco!!!!!
