I thought that Glen Johnson played extremely well against us when we last played Portsmouth. Before that I hadn't given him much thought but during that match, I took notice.

He got forward often and quite a few of their attacks when through him. He seemed comfortable and composed on the ball as well.

Of course the issues of transfer fee and wages come immediately to mind and then there's the small fact that Portsmouth probably wouldn't sell him.

I want to keep Phil Neville at RB.

I know alot of people will disagree but i think he's a very good RB and a very good captain.

He hardly ever get's beat down the wing and make's some great run's especially linking up with Mikel well.

Agree about Glen Johnson.

Of course if we were to buy a quality RB, it would raise a big question mark about Neville's future. Assuming that we also strengthen midfield over the summer, it could be a struggle for our captain to get into the first XI. And Hibbo's just signed a new contract, he's not going anywhere, so we'd have cover at RB anyway.

Same here, I like 'arrrr Phil :)

I think Hoyte could develop into a great player but its a case of do we want promise or do we want first teamers straight in??!

Agree with Cal and Rodders- Neville is a solid right back who always does a job.

Worryingly I think Moyes has signalled his intent by wrapping Hibbo up on a longer contract.

I'm in the Neville camp with a adequate back up in Hibbo. No use spending money were it isn't warranted.

To mega name Midfielders please. This will go a long way for our short term stability. No more Neville, Baines, Valente or Jags in midfield. I know Davey likes a small squad but his favorite five across the midfield should get some ample numbers in.

chimbonda is acheatin french prick and i will boo him if he ever dons the blue of everton.

if anyone remembers their visit to goodison he got tackled and went down like he'd been shot, chants of 'let him die' echoed around the lower gwladys only for him to get up and walk off once the st johns ambulance took half an hour to get the stretcher over to him..i hate pricks like him

Say what you really think next time.

This whole right back thing is a headache for me. I like Neville as a RB but only a RB. I think things would be easier if Neville isn't the captain anymore.
