Ridiculous Terrace Chants of Yesteryear

In the days when you knew you were on MOTD or The Big Match cos there were TV vans in the car park, it was a routine to chant abuse at either Jimmy Hill or Brian Moore.

"Jimmy Hill is a W"

And "Brian Moore, we have more hair than you"

Thing is, they only got sung when the crowd was bored, so I cannot remember one ever getting in to match highlights anyrate.

Pretty ridiculous in hindsight.

"I hear the sound of distant bums, over there, over there(points to Kop)and do they smell?like effing hell"lol

Vintage 70's that. Cant remember the Bristol City version, but the last line was the same!

They, (Bristol City) had one back then that was brilliant. It scanned perfectly, and to a young lad was funny as. It would break the swear filter, but to the tune of the war song that has "But dont dilly dally on the way" (cant remember the name of it).

"My Old Man Said Be a Rovers Fan
I Said FO Testicles
You're a (really really bad word that rhymes with hunt)"

Different days.

When Rovers relocated to Twerton City loved singing (with some justification) "One team in Bristol, there's only one team in Bristol."
