Richarlison

Why do people keep saying his injury record is awful when he played 87 games in three seasons
He had a few injuries but he’s not missed loads and has scored one in three this season and last

And for everyone saying ‘why do we always go back’…
Corrrct me if I’m wrong, the last one was Idrissa Gueye who’s been our best outfield player the last two seasons along with Branthwaite imo

Before that all I can think is Rooney which was dumb but he still scored double figures if I remember right including some boss memories like the halfway line goal against West Ham and the penalty at the pit

Before that was what Pienaar about 20 years ago and the fee was fine and he still played pretty well

Who am I missing?

Now if you want to say we keep signing aging players on high wages who keep getting knocks so their injuries could get worse I accept that is a fair point. Personally I’d take the risk.

His problem appears to be hamstring injuries. Probably get worse year in year.

Looked decent at Goodison the other month, would have him back in a heartbeat. Only issue is his position, he was a decent makeshift number 9 for us but far better as a winger or number 10 as he was when Brazil won the olympics.

Still scores plenty of goals. A loan would be perfect, relatively large loan sum (£5m) with an option, not obligation, to buy for like £20m (would also help massively for PSR). Don't take all the risk - a loan is a good start for Spurs' 6th choice striker if they are all fit.

We need a balance of new young signings and proven prem experience. He’s better than all our forward options currently. Loan would be ideal but wages are probably beyond us. I’d be happy to see him if we also signed someone like Delap. (Wishful thinking). If we can jettison Beto and CL leaves along with Broja then Richy on loan makes sense.
