We went through almost exactly the same conversations with Pienaar. When he came back he was a shell of his former self and was regularly injured, he never actually played that much afternoon came back.

If we want Brazils number 9, let's go get Brazils number 9. Leave Richarlison at Spurs.

I think the Pienaar move made sense and worked out.

The role as a single striker has never suited him. He could replace Doucoure or as a .winger.

I agree. Bring him home. Just the boost alone in his feelings towards us and us towards him would pay dividends. Even if he doesn’t start and has some injury concerns, getting a good deal for him would be great for the club. The system works for him, too. I see more goals in him than from Beto or Dom.
