Richarlison wins the ball and the momentum carries him into Thiago, who really shouldn't have left his leg there. That's football

Every 50/50 challenge we came out with the ball was blown up by the ref as a foul.. can't even remember this tackle you chaps are on about.. they have all just blended into the clearly bias officiating! :pint2:

Unacceptable what he did, the minute the red came out I had this horrendous feeling they were going to snatch it at the death again. And they should have.

I hope Ancelotti behind the scenes is furious with him.

I love the lad and is easily in my top 3 favourites at the club but he's massively let us down.

We got away with the VAR call at the end but a knock to DCL or James and we are right up against it with 2 away games and a 6 pointer against Man Utd coming up.

Im all for leaving "one" on a player but do it standing where its a yellow not going in like a mad man.

Too many of our players have little knowledge of playing the game / assessing situations - Holgate lunging in and getting injured for 8-12 weeks during a pre season friendly nothing game. Pickford being a lunatic every week, Richarlison losing his head.

Carlo needs to sit the squad down and show them clips of James and how he operates - absolute master on how to play the game/ not taking unnecessary risks yet makes sure he makes the most of when the opposition try do him.

Wonderful as he is you cant have a team of 11 James!

I think the last ten minutes the legacy of knocks/travel and the international break caught up with us, that "clearance" from Mina to Salah for their second looked a weary action, similarly Richarlison, bad one but he was probably mentally toast at that moment, not making excuses, it was a fear of mine before this game.
