Seems an appropriate player to contrast him with is Geri, who Watford signed for £11 million earlier in the summer. Geri has scored a goal or made an assist every 3.45 Premier League games. Richarlinson has done likewise every 3.9 Premier League games, yet somehow is worth anywhere from 3-5 times as much as Geri, despite Geri also having international experience and having played in both Serie A and La Liga.

Have to disagree with the comparison - we know that is Geri's ceiling (barring a personality and lung transplant).

At just turned 20 Richarlison started a season in Brazil, played 18 full games, moved 6000 miles and continued in good form for a few months before tiring. Who knows if he's worth £35m or £50m, but he deserves the benefit of the doubt for now.
