Richarlison at Spurs

It's quite a lot of money so they probably expect a lot, which is fair enough

He stood out near the end of the season as he actually made an effort, if all the team actually tries it's probably less noticeable

When you've been watching Son and Kane the expectations for a big money signing are going to be sky high and Richarlison has never played up to that standard. It'll be interesting.

And no we should not do another Pienaar.

It really depends on how he reacts to being substituted which he will do a lot more than when he was here.
He's not going to start an awful lot either percentage wise. They've got CL games too so he'll play a fair amount but it won't be 100% of the games he's fit.

@GrandOldTeam looking at the replies alone, I don't think it's the consensus rather than some of their knee-jerk fans, just like we have.

It is going to be difficult for him because they've got high expectations due to quality they already posses, and the price will only exacerbate that.

Yet we know what he offers, so if he does that there then I suspect he'll make an impact. The question is if that'll be enough to appease their fan base.

If I remember correctly, I'm sure @Yid4life said he was playing well and improving each game, so perhaps he could give an update.
And no we should not do another Pienaar.
Why not? I'm not saying we should if the situation arises, but we should at least be open to the idea if the situation was right - e.g. price, performances etc.

Richarlison is a player who most fans felt a real affinity to, which I think was reciprocated by the player. I wouldn't be upset if he eventually chose to come back.
