Dont think Richy understands the difference between lacking ambishun and being hamstrung by a corrupt system known as FFP.

We wouldn't compete if FFP didn't exist either. It puts a lid on it but people are deluded to think we ever had the funds to compete. Maybe in 30 years.

Catch 22, keeping hold of him and hamstrung by FFP. Selling him and completely rebuilding the team to be more competitive. One man doesn’t make a club as we’ve seen (well hopefully will see against West Ham tomorrow)

He's pretty much the sole reason we weren't relegated last season, and the only player, bar Seamus, who gave a stuff for the last few years. He's this era's Duncan Ferguson, only he didn't just turn up for the big games!

He does seem less wasteful, I guess it helps if your teammates make passing easy for you.

Certainly a valid point! I think the system of 5 at the back suits him as well - he likes to come inside and always has an option either side of him
