You missed out there Johnny. The Golden age of Television gave way to the mediocre age and gave way in turn to the Reality age.

If you didn't like Streethawk give yourself an uppercut.

I never HEARD of Streethawk. So I'll restrain myself from punching myself for the time being.b)

I guess I had different tastes growing up. Here's a few I'd throw in from the 70's/80's...

WKRP in Cincinnati
Alf
Family Ties
Happy Days
Rockford Files
All in the Family
Good Times
MASH
The Incredible Hulk
Three's Company
SOAP

As you can tell I went in for the sitcoms more than the action or "gadget" shows...but to each his own!

I forgot "Cheers". Best show from the 80's hands down.

Utterly hilarious and way before its time. First US TV show to feature a gay character - played by Billy Crystal.

CHiPS? Really? CHiPS? Ponch? And the blonde guy? (shakes head) And those weird little synth noises?

This. I've played covers of this for years - everybody loves it. One of the best TV themes ever - too bad this clip doesn't let it stretch out. Great bass line, especially played with that big, fat, seventies sound. Hal Linden was a first rate reedman in his early career - then went into the acting side. Good clarinet player, great TV show.
