It's great news insofar as contracts mean anything these days.
I hope that Lukaku is the focal point of the team for at least a few more years, but if not then this will guarantee that we get fair market value for him if sold, to me that's in or around £60m at today's prices.

The only thing that seems different about this announcement with the previous ones is that Lukaku sounds like he has now agreed to all the terms, whereas before we had that 0.0001% that still needed to be agreed or whatever.
As many have said doesn't mean a huge amount if he does sign other than strengthening our position if/when he goes which is obviously a positive. And hopefully it means we get another season out of him but I'm not getting my hopes up too much on that one yet...
