no sense no feeling....that's what they say...So 3 bottles were thrown, people are claiming multiple Sunderland fans were struck and no one was hurt?.
I didn't see anything remotely resembling this. All the away fans around me were too busy singing the Bolassie song and generally having a good time. All the beer bottles inside the ground were plastic, which doesn't mean a glass bottle could not have been smuggled in. I genuinely don't think this happened.
I sit (well, stand) in the north west corner so, although I'm not directly below the away fans in the north upper, I'm pretty near. Can't say for definite but I didn't see or hear anything like that. Surely if a glass bottle was chucked there'd be a bit of commotion below, probably with stewards etc there as well which definitely didn't happen.
If someone has done it (not sure why they would, and especially with the standard of cctv in grounds now) then it's obviously a one off idiot, seriously doubt more than one would be doing it and tbh Everton have always been a set of fans that self police to a certain extent, anyone doing stuff like that would have likely been put in their place.
So can't say for definite but I didn't see anything and I have to be honest, some of the comments on that thread are embarrassing, a few idiots showing our support up. Imagine criticising Liverpool and calling it deprived when the vast majority of our fans live in a city which at least equally suffers from deprivation. No doubt the people making those kinds of comments have moved away and think they're above everyone else in the city now. I don't find deprivation and social issues in cities something to joke about or try to score points off, it's pathetic

Did this actually happen or is someone with a chip on their shoulder trying to stir trouble up?
Don't really mind what lids want to enhance their viewing experience but i draw the line at hurling stuff about
That's if it did happen like
Blimey. People really don't ask for much evidence before taking the chance to label all scousers scum.
"Everton and Liverpool fans tend to be the worst as they come from a deprived City and live in conditions that you wouldn't believe. Most of them have outside toilets and a piggery in the yard."
"The whole city is a shithole from which the rats emerge every weekend"
Embarrassed for people making comments like that in 2016, especially from people in working class areas like Sunderland.

Everyone was, two fellas next to me at the troph passed a bag over lemo over my head, surreal.
And that was after the belter security guard at the pat down declared 'nothing gets past me, scousers'.
Haha. Saw that. They brought about 10 police up so walk out one lad.Only thing approaching " trouble" I saw was a blue flare, at which point the entire resources of NE Constabulary duly arrived.
