Not an easy task, for the most he was excellent down that left hand side, impacting positively on Baines. Who do you think it should be?

Osman was poor again today, that's not his position. I actually though Bily looked confident again when he came on.

Not sure how ready Gueye is or how effective he would be right now in that position.

Anyway, it's going to be difficult as that left hand side had been our most productive outlet in the team for a couple of seasons now.

For the summer? N'Zogbia. We should be all over that and aggresively buying that beaut.

At the moment...not Osman. Bilya...if not, sell him.

Hammill, Snodgrass, Taiwo (Baines pushed up to midfield) or than French bloke with the accented "e" in his name.

Not N'Zogbia though. Too expensive, and a bit inconsistent. Attitude problem too.

Jesus it's a real puzzler. Gueye I dont think he fancies dropping into the team. Top of my head - and given Kenwrong and his merry band of cretins aren't going to lump in for a replacement - I'd even think of switching Neville over to LB and pushing Baines up.

It's like musical chairs this club.

£8mill will do it and he'll want to move. Im pissed off getting lower league players and letting the "bed".

And balls to the attitude, Moyes needs to be a proper man manager and deal with it. If players "attitiude" was a big thing, any chance of signing some absolute quality like a Drogba etc for eg would be out the window and that's not the way to go IMO

Bily looked alright when he came on today. It's just a shame he came on when Moyes decided 4-5-1 "shut up shop" was the way to go.

Didn't know he had a long throw on him.

May as well be £50m mate. ;) Unless we recoup the money on Bily we aren't spending that amount of cash on one player in 2011. Not a chance.

I thought Osman was alright today, did brilliantly for Beckford's goal. Did the match-thread-hive-mind think he had a bad game?

Going by the evidence today Osman and Anichebe can both be useful down the left depending on the opposition. Neither are the answer long term though. Any names I could suggest from outside of the current squad would just be idle speculation. Bily always looks like he wants hours on the ball whenever he gets it, today included. He's still got my full support but I don't think he'd be effective down the left for us. Maybe he'd change my mind after a run of games.

That assist aside he was shocking IMO.

Strangely, when he set up the goal Anichebe had gone wide left and Osman had drifted inside just behind Beckford. That's why Anichebe won the flick on wide left. Stayed that way for the first 15 minutes of the second half too.

Wide left was were he started and he was abysmal in the first half like every other Everton player was.

That's why we dont/cant move anywhere.

And N'Zog was on his way to Brum for £8mill but couldnt agree terms.

Him and Coleman on the wings would be awesome!

i voted bily but why not change the formation and make better use of what we have...3-5-2
