We could have took advantage though, throw it away in the last couple of minutes.

I know it's hard to take when we draw in that manner, but that's still a quality Tottenham side we were up against today.

It would have been a great win for us if we would have been able to hold on.

Yeah you have a point, they're still a quality side. If we would have had Felli or Pienaar we would have won no doubt.

If they had bale and lennon they would have turned us over though.
Maybe but I was backing us to get something out of the game before Thursday. Plan A was to stop Bale, we've done it before and have prevented him from playing.

still dont think we will get higher than 6th with those away fixtures, if Arsenal and Spurs were in the opposite positions points wise I would be more confident as I still think Arsenal wont slip up now unlike spurs.

FFS come on Everton **** arsenal and the ********s for once!

Still say best we can hope for are draws against the RS, Arsenal and Chelsea. 3 points against Sunderland, QPR, Fulham and West Ham.

But we all know the RS will get 3 points off us.

problem is its the games against our rivals that imo will decide where we finish and not the ones against your qpr's/fulhams etc. but the problem is that we cant seem to kill games off. just praying for a win over arsenal.

Anfield derby last year, we were unbeaten in like 8 games and Liverpool were in poor form and it was the worst Liverpool team in years.

We got tonked 3-0

You're right about it having nothing to do with form. We just get beat no matter how we're playing in the build up to the Anfield derby.

Tottenham's form has dipped quite significantly recently, which they did last season as well.

We have the fixtures to take points off those above us, aiming for the same thing. We are capable of going to the Emirates, Anfield and the Stadium of Light and getting three points, it will be a monumental task, but considering we have no injury worries and our first XI stays fit for those games, I will feel a lot easier about the whole thing. The good thing is that we have those opportunities to leap frog them if we play well enough and win.

There seems to be a lot more confidence in the squad compared to last year, I feel that there is, and apart from the aberration that was the FA cup quarter final our form has been better than Spurs. It's winning those 'easy' home games, and not screwing them up which is important. Fellaini needs to put in a big performance next game.

Keeping Mirallas fit will be key and hopefully he'll keep scoring.
Just because we drew yesterday doesn't mean it's over, far from it, but it's a huge task, hopefully the players are up for it.
