Home form under Frank... WWLWLWW

W Brentford (FAC)
W Leeds
L Man City
W Boreham Wood (FAC)
L Wolves
W Newcastle
W Man Utd

9 points from 15

Its the away form that is absolutely abhorrent... LLLLLL

L Newcastle
L Southampton
L Spurs
L Crystal Palace (FAC)
L West Ham
L Burnley

0 points from 15

Last 10 league games, 3 wins and 7 defeats, 9 points from 30.

I can`t call it, we literally could go down as much as stay up, one thing is for sure the away form needs to change and we need to start picking up points, can we win back to back games on Wednesday?
Keep that home form going should be enough

I know it is all what ifs, but that Burnley result really is the most damaging......

Draw that game and we are 6 points above them now with a game in hand, if we had won that we would be 9 points clear now with a game in hand, I think we would be virtually home and hosed.

Such is our season!

I think we need to go all out to beat Leicester on Wednesday to give us that 6 point gap because our next two is Liverpool away and Chelsea at home. The chances we take anything from them is slim whilst Burnley play 4 games in that time, 3 at home and one away to Watford. Do we trust Southampton and Wolves to not bottle it at Burnley? Surely they are winning at Watford, 2 wins will put them above us even if we beat Leicester.

It`ll be tight but I can see us spending a week or so in that relegation zone unless Burnley completely implode, which is exactly what every Evertonian is hoping for.

The one that could implode with their run of fixtures is Leeds. Wouldn't fancy that run-in at all...

I sometimes wonder if people live in the same reality I do. We’re not even close to being safe yet.
Supporters trying to manage their own emotions, trying to think positively.
Similar way to some fans saying “we’re down”, they are just trying to make peace with that possibility so it doesn’t hit them that hard if it happens.
Often people don’t actually believe what they’re saying.?
And some are just from another planet!?

Like you say it is all what ifs, we could have beat Burnley and then got beat by United, which would have left us in the same position.

After that Burnley game if you were offered that Burnley would only get 1 point against Norwich and West Ham you'd have bitten their hand off.

Wednesday is so important, you just know that horrible RS in the dugout will go all out to help try and send us down.

You’re banking on Burnley winning 3 (three) games in a row for your scenario here chief.
Yes, but if we lose to Leicester and Burnley get 6 points from their next three it is squeaky bum time. We would be in relegation zone. It’s not that outlandish, I didn’t realise Watford’s home record was that bad (lost last ten at home), so Burnley will fancy that trip.

All ifs and buts isn’t it. Got to do our business, and beat Leicester.

It is indeed all ifs and buts. We still have to play Watford away too but no one will say we fancy that trip, the narrative will be that they’re due a win and so we can’t possibly get anything there. If we were in Burnley’s position we’d be acting like a point away at West Ham to leave us trailing them by 3 points having played a game more was an absolute disaster and all but confirmed us as down.

As a fanbase we’re always looking for ways to put us in the worst case scenario. We are incapable of looking at anything objectively. We even had people trying to make out Watford losing to Brentford somehow impacted us negatively. It is tiring to read tbh.

I agree with what you’re saying. I do think the next few weeks in particular are going to be very sketchy though and could very well see us in the relegation zone for a spell.

As soon as they announced the fixture changes the other week and they backloaded the games in hand it was always going to come down to us getting results from the three games before Arsenal: Watford away, Brentford home and Palace home. I think We are going to need points from this to not be needing anything at Arsenal.
