I'm projecting their realistic chances against ordinary opposition - they might beat all of Wolves, Saints, Villa, Newcastle at home but it's very unlikely. Much more likely is 2 wins 2 draws or similar - perhaps 1 win 2 draw. As far as away goes - Watford and Villa are good chances. I'd expect them to win at Watford but they might get 2 draws in those two games. The range expected will be between those points - so if you take an average you get around 12 points. I agree 8 is more realistic but we've all seen struggling teams win their last three before now. And I don't want to rely on Burnley simply falling apart - we have to assume they will be competitive right to the death and we therefore need 3 or so wins.

Correct.

The key is to keep it to points difference of 4 between 17th and 18th. Still the case this week as it was last Sunday (somehow). Would be brilliant to get it up to 7 with the formula of Burnley losing away to West Ham (very likely) and beating Leicester at home (possible).

With Liverpool and Chelsea after that and Burnley having two home games gap will probably decrease again. If it dosen't then in a very strong position to stay up so it's really up to the players to kick on now.

Still a big danger even if it's a 3 point gap going into final day however if the GDs are similar. All it would take is Burnley s**thousing their way to a 1-0 home win over Newcastle and losing at Arsenal and it's relegation so it's still finely balanced to me although I certainly didn't expect the respective results over last 24 hours (also thought Watford would beat Leeds) so a couple more matchdays like that will hopefully happen in the run in.

How we managed to appoint the FSW and then leave him in charge for as long as we did causing almost irreparable damage?Has to fall solely on Moshiri's shoulders that, even Kenwright was dead set against the appointment.
Well yes, i'd like the owner gone too his meddling has been catastrophic he needs to at least to stay out of football decisions. But I fear that won't happen until BMD then he might sell.

Just a note that we cannot write off that RS game. Chance to massively improve our position and massively derail theirs.

We should be well up for that game given its effectively a free hit.
I'd like to think we would be well up for it given the significance. But I just dont think we are good enough to go there and compete. The top 2 are on a different level to the other 18 teams in this league.

It won't be competitive and nor should it be. It should be us looking to defend deep, make it difficult and counter attacking with pace.

Gordon, Gray and Richarlison up top, Iwobi Delph/Doucoure and Allan snapping at heels.

They are I can't deny that. But what help have they had of these refs. They should have been down to 10 men today at least with another 2/3 getting away without a yellow. City also got away with a couple. Terrible biased reffing with mucj more leeway for the top teams. No-one will say anything though.

3 per cent Thursday??
