Of course we can influence, did you not see the deviation between the last two games.

In that case don’t be a know it all, telling people to chill, because we’ve got this we most certainly aren’t showing signs of it. You can play the spectrum anyway. Stress was your word, concern evokes energy, that can be used for care, focus and subsequently positive influential behaviour, it depends how you react to concern and adversity.

Personally don’t understand that approach but each to their own, people are diverse in their psychology,, avoidance is a valid coping mechanism, others will confront, basic flight or fight really.
OK. One small thing. It was you used the word stress not me .
Have a good evening.

Not kneejerking to say our next three, I expect zero points from this mob. We will definitely be in it then.

City h
Spurs a
Wolves h

All vastly better sides. We are dire.
I can see us grabbing something at Spurs.

City will be too strong for us by far - and Wolves are flying away from home.

Say the worst case scenario and we lose all three then we will guaranteed to be in the bottom three and the pressure will be unbearable.

You should know by now EFC often get results when you least expect it.

Losing to Southampton and Newcastle then beating City and Wolves is peak Everton.
I always see people saying this but it never happens, it’s always the opposite: expect to win and we lose, expect to lose and we lose. Joke club.

I think wolves we have a chance, yes they’re in form and confident. I know they
Scored 2 v Leicester. But usually they don’t score many or concede. I think we have the fire power and lampard playing on the front foot
With the crowd to get after them.

It is their mental weakness that is killing us. If anything goes against them, ref, concede a goal, they just go into their shells and hide.

Sickening.
Agree mate, they'll happily accept any opportunity to cave in.

My worry is they still haven't hit rock bottom. Think Newcastle + Soton performances will be norm away from home.

Home points only hope.

They both currently look worse than us, but we still have to get pasted them, we need that city game out of the way, doubt we will get anything but who knows.
We'll get hit for six by City and will slump into the bottom three within the next three weeks. But we have plenty of time to get out of it if we are good enough. If we're not, we will have found our level. I can't get worked up about it anymore. I hope and expect we will stay up, but there's been enough dysfunction about the club over the last number of years to relegate any side. We'll get what we deserve.

Today's results were a confirmation of what we've been saying for a while.

While Watford and Norwich are definitely going down, we knew Burnley would be best able to grind their way out of it. Based on their last few results, I think they stay up.

Then it comes down to Leeds, Brentford, Newcastle and us for the last spot. Things are looking good to somehow grind out more points than Leeds and/or Brentford. But we really are dire

We need to man up, forget about other struggling clubs and grab the rest of the season by the throat. Anyone not prepared to fight fight fight with all their might for the RBJ should be jettisoned.

This is Everton Football Club. Start playing like you get the meaning.

It has to be war mate, I don’t think it’s clicked with the players the position they are in, we have to hope, my concern is I don’t trust this group, there are to many looking around expecting someone else to do something and have seem very little bottle from them in recent seasons.

Your bang on the money, the players need to start playing like they are Everton players, we need to get point anyway we can, even if it’s not pretty, we need to go to war.
