What’s with this Evertonian fetishisation of relegation? Bloody annoying. Even the bluenose Yanks on Twitter have started partaking in it. Get a grip!
I've seen all the too good or too big to go down clubs get relegated from Utd, Spurs, Villa, Newcastle, Sunderland, City, Chelsea, Leeds, Forest, Derby and some of them never recovered. But the common denominators were they didn't recognise they were in the cack till it was too late and a mass delusion that it couldn't happen to them. We're in it up to our necks right now and if people don't realise it and do something drastic to change it then we are fooked

For all that was a better performance today it's still zero points and that's a more of a worry for me. We do seem to have been more than a bit unlucky this season with key decisions and combine that with a team that fall to bits as soon as the going gets tough = bad news. We are absolutely in a relegation scrap and barring a miracle we will bottom 3 if not bottom going into the new year. The club is Spineless from top to bottom.

Isn't happening.

Said it in the Leicester game thread, but seven league wins should see us safe (throw in a couple of draws).

On the face of it we should comfortably win 7 from 24 games. What worries me though is there just doesn't appear to be a semblance of a fighting mentality in this team. The complete antithesis of the 90's Dogs o' War.

Not only do we not win if we concede the first goal of a game, but away from home especially, we can't seem to hang on to a lead when we do get one, i.e. Leicester and Brighton away. Such a weak mentality in this set of players.

Things look grim right now...nothing is going our way.
Maybe I'm an optimist by nature, but I still think that after December is done, we have a winning streak in us somewhere.
