Relegation

Relegation is what our fans deserve for hounding out the likes of Stones, Lukaku and Barkley.

How did we hound any of them out? Let’s not revise history here, Barkley screwed the club out of a bigger transfer fee by backing out on his medical last minute, Lukaku was forever talking up leaving the club every time he went away with Belgium and Stones actually put in a transfer request to move to Chelsea a year before he moved to City

I agree its a danger, but I'm actually feeling more confident after that performance. It probably helps that expectations were so low to begin with. This wasn't Norwich at home, this was the best team on current form in their own backyard. They weren't conceding much either till that bullet header.

Everton looked compact and determined. Iwobi had a good game, as did Sidibe who looks a proper unit now. Michael Keane was reintroduced. Everyone fought and knew their roles. Set piece defending has improved. Good cameo from Moise Kean when he came on too.

Play to that standard and there will be results.

What is the point of “performance”. If you lose a game 1-2 you got zero point. If you lose against a newly promoted side 0-2 at home you get zero point too. 14 games 14 points I am amazed as some people are deluding themselves and think things will be fine.

What’s with this Evertonian fetishisation of relegation? Bloody annoying. Even the bluenose Yanks on Twitter have started partaking in it. Get a grip!

There is no spirit in this team, there hasn’t been for years. That’s a huge part of the problem. We have some absolute beauts in the squad who just can’t be arsed.
This is truer than any of us would like it to be.

Our midfield is not just lacking creativity, it needs a bit of snide

I didn't say I think things will be fine? I just said that my expectations for that game were very low and that I was pleasantly surprised by the fight, organisation and discipline shown by the team. A defeat is a defeat and is never a good thing, but the level of opponent and the manner of the performance can give you some insight into where the immediate future lies. That was a far better performance than last week's disaster show.

I think it's hilarious personally.

We've just lost away to the second best team in the league atm after a good performance and peoples arses suddenly go about relegation.
And the only reason why that is suddenly important is because we have played all the other rubbish teams in the league and have an aggregate amount of points as one per game. Which is relegation form. What a stupid statement.

I suspect that you are just being a tit, but if you are asking why people are talking about relegation, then it's because our form is relegation form and we have the crappest manager in the league in charge!
