two of the four sides in the mix for the last spot for relegation have been in europe for a distance this season.

we have fans regularly calling missing getting a euro spot this season an abject failure. those games and that travel will need facing next year.

we've had fans moaning about early cup exits this season, it could easily be the very same next term. After all, we're all very glad to be free and clear this relegation mess.

thing is though forest have been poor all season, its not like theyve incrementally gotten worse, in fact their form was at its worst before the europa league league phase even started

bad ownership and constant mangerial flux, combined with poor signings and injuries to key players like Wood are why they are down there

They also regularly make around 7-8 changes for Europa league games, even at this stage, so players are being rested


i don’t think any spurs fan or pundit is looking at their poor form and blaming it on champions league, again its horrendous mismanagement and players with serious attitude problems

….i always thought Leeds were on the periphery and I now think they’re safe, just can’t see teams below winning two more games than them given their run-in. I also think Forest have enough attacking threat and fight to escape.

Can’t help feel this is now down to one from West Ham and Spurs and if I had to pick, I’d pick West Ham tor the drop. Spurs have been so bad, surely they’re due a few results to go their way. West Ham have been down there all season, I just have a feeling it could be them but I’d be surprised if it’s not one of those two, the bookies seem to agree.

I'm simply speaking for myself here, but I've had the same thoughts honestly because it's so difficult to imagine a team like Spurs going down. I consider them the favorites for the drop, but still can't wrap my head around it being a real possibility.

Since I've been an Evertonian the only teams apart from us that have not been relegated from the top division are Arsenal and the RS. Mind you, the RS only got promoted to the old 1st Division the season before.

Just seen Leeds, West Ham and Spuds still have to play each other.
Leeds may be feeling a bit chipper after Monday but you never know the FA Cup may still prove to be a distraction.
