I think losing Romero will actually help Spurs. I'm not suggesting they will avoid the drop but you can really do without his type at times like this.
It can be, but what makes you think this is suddenly changing with 6 games to go?

Mad that I have the exact same thoughts.….just a feeling that Spurs are due, Nymz. Probably totally misguided, hopefully like the ‘feeling’ I have that PSG will wither tonight![]()
West Ham looked a certain a month or so ago, they've picked up loads (and probably have the best manager)
In the 2nd half of the season (c. 12-13 games in now) they are pretty much the worst team in every metric that matter. Most goals conceded, least amount of goals scored, worst GD, only team to have no wins, most losses, least amount of points...they are in massive trouble.
thats leeds more or less safe then?
i know many don’t like them, but I’m glad for it. probably the weakest side alongside burnley in terms of individual quality but actually play to their strengths and to the crowd, home form was brilliant for a period
i also was worried about a third year of all three promoted teams going down and that setting a dangerous precedent. 2 wouldnt be much better
i also lived in leeds so a bit of a soft spot
spurs look doomed by all accounts
two of the four sides in the mix for the last spot for relegation have been in europe for a distance this season.I still get that sickening feeling mixed with relief that we are not on the agenda in this thread. What desperate times we've had.
they where two fine goals as well….worked in Leeds plenty too, not to mention everybody being delighted that I have more opportunities to mention the two screamers I scored at Elland Rd many years ago![]()
Yeah the sleepless from those battles still haunt meI still get that sickening feeling mixed with relief that we are not on the agenda in this thread. What desperate times we've had.
