Relegation Thread 25-26

One win in six and the kopites/press are all over Uncle Fester as a failure.

We are one win in seven for Moyes and nobody seem to care, how is that acceptable just because we are Everton?

Well yeah that sort of does matter, the fact that they’re reigning champions and have spent £400m in the summer.

I feel like there’s a bit of complacency amongst the fans on a potential relegation battle. We absolutely are not too good to be involved in Another one for the fifth year running.

The three promoted sides are having a much better crack at staying up this season.

We have won three games but were lucky to win two of them.

We have two strikers and they have scored one goal between them.

Our best defender is out until February.

After an optimistic summer, I am now definitely looking at the teams below us rather than up the table: don’t score goals, don’t win games.

I think we will end up in trouble by Christmas. Then eventually get out of it. But it won't be fun

We are playing really badly and the manager doesn't recognise it. We can't score or defend. We brought in bad players. We're in more trouble than people realise.

Think the issue is the promoted teams are way better than last two seasons. This is similar to 22/23 season now although I still think Leeds and Burnley will still be scrapping to stay up in final weeks, Brighton comfortably brushing aside Leeds today.

However both are picking up what they need to in home games so far more likely this season it will be 35/36 points compared to 25/26 in last two years.

I’ve not got another relegation battle in me I’ll be totally honest. Just feel absolutely nothing about the prospect, completely numb to it. Whatever.

We’re still a mess behind the scenes and I don’t think our recruitment team or CEO know what they are doing.

I think we are definately in a relegation battle. The team looks completely blunt and if you cant score your always in trouble. 15th in the league, will likely lose on Monday to a team who have a feel good factor currently.

It looked good a few weeks ago but was a false dawn and since the wolves win which is looking less impressive by the week, we have been extremely poor.

We’re not, win on Monday and we’re one point off top half and looking upwards. Stop thinking negatives and have some faith

People will have some faith when they see something tangible to give them faith. “Just have faith” isn’t a thing, having blind faith with no evidence is just called delusion.

Are you confident of a win on Monday and if so, what specifically has given you that confidence?
