Relegation Thread 25-26

Must win for West Ham on Saturday

1 point from 2 winnable hone games is not enough
The next two games are important for them: Wolves and Forest are the teams they need to be picking up points against to keep them within reach.

For me, I think Forest will be alright in the end, like we were under Dyche, dragging enough points to get us over the line. Leeds may eventually struggle.

Does it matter to Everton who goes down?

Well, who doesn't is Everton's opposition the following season. I think West Ham have more about them, and more likely to compete with Everton over the next 1-5 seasons than Leeds.

I recall wanting Villa down for the same reason when they beat us to effectively stay up.

[Edit] There's probably more West Ham players we could pinch if they went down too.

I think Leeds’ home form will see them safe. The stadium seems to be a bit of a noose for wham, that and that the fans don’t seem up for the fight either.

Bournemouth could be interesting. A tough run incoming and about to lose their best player, manager out of contract at end season too I think?

I think it's the current 3. West Ham are in huge bother - 2 very winnable home games just gone and 1 point to show for it. Forest will flirt with it and are in trouble, but they've shown enough in certain games. Just not against the mighty Toffees, naturally.

Bournemouth won't go down but feels like they could be on the cusp of really struggling next season.

Likewise Leeds have shown plenty about them in certain games, much more than West Ham imo.

Think it is the bottom 3 as it stands that goes.

Wolves are abysmal. Can't score. Can't defend. No midfield. No fight.

Burnley can't score. Their defence they relied on last season is finding it a bit more difficult this season with the step up in class. I like Parker though.

West ham look gone. Relying on 34 year old Wilson as your main striker who can only compete 60 mins. Their defence is shocking. And that stadium is a hell hole for football.
