Relegation Thread 25-26

West Ham's fixture against Brentford has come at a great time for them, what with Brentford's form having tailed off massively in the last month or so. Five consecutive draws, yet still high enough up the table to know a Europa League place is in their hands. Hopefully it can be turned into six games without victory.

Still, if West Ham stretch the gap to three points over Spurs, it's not done. Spurs' goal difference means they only need to gain three points more from the remaining fixtures over West Ham and they'll stay up.

I think Spurs have an ideal run of fixtures really though:
Villa - guaranteed to finish top five and can rest players for the Europa League
Leeds - basically safe already, no longer going into games worrying about the drop
Chelsea - probably the best team in the league to be playing right now
Everton - if you ever need a game to turn around your run of awful form, we are the team.
The one thing your fail to mention…this is a spurs team who have two draws in 2026…no wins!

Who have chronic injuries, no confidence…have conceded in every game in 2026…

You expect them to win 4-5 games in a row?

West Ham/Forest are picking up points constantly.

Wolves score 1st goal spurs will crap there pants

You never know how a team might spawn a win. Early red card, ridiculous own goal, etc. I think 2 wins may do it. Hope they go down like lol

Obviously i want spurs to down as be so funny but i think wolves is their Bournemouth!

They have to win its their easiest game on paper to lose it i think mentally kills them

So annoying west ham playing us as another other time i’d be praying west ham win
Just think of the consolation if we lose: Spurs's likely demise.

We'll be disappointed and annoyed, no dount, to lose tomorrow, but the silver lining is it could finish Spurs - or at least set them up to be finished by us on the last day.

That said, knowing us, we'll lose to both relegation-haunted sides.
