I didn`t realise just how bad our chance conversion was... we are bottom of the league, Imagine where we`d be if players could finish! We`ve had 396 shots at goal, only the RS have more and we are joint second with Arsenal. So we are getting the chances but the players we have aren`t capable of scoring.

Imagine where we would be if the conversion rate was just 3% higher, we`d have as many goals as Arsenal! I don`t think this is a formation or system issue, this is players who have never been goal scorers that, if we want to progress, needs replacing.

You have to ask what is being done in the way of shooting drills in training looking at that, we should be practicing scenarios with the forwards/midfielders every day to try and improve the situation.

Well, we could start by actually picking the fella who has scored a couple of goals this month rather than the fella who is now into double-figures of consecutive games without a goal.

Beto is no great shakes, but he's found the net. The other fella is way off things. We're hobbling ourselves by shoe-horning Keane and DCL into the side.

so wanting us out of all the cups. and saying you think we will go on a 7 game losing streak (Losing the next 4 prem games). who do you actually think we will get our next points verse. or is that Palace you are saying our next points will come against
Our lack of depth just shows how important Doucoure and Gana are to the team, and also how fatal it is putting Keane between Tarkowski and Branthwaite and unsettling a solid defence. I've only seen the highlights on MotD but it seemed that the mere presence of a slow and clumsy Keane makes the rest of the defence nervous. Luckily we have two weeks to get players back.

OK fair enough, nailed on 26 points from the next half of the season, I`d like to be so arrogant to think it would be that straight forward.

In all likelihood we are not getting a 4 game winning run, that was a blip brought about by the deduction, so you could probably take the majority of them points away.

After the next 4 game we are likely to be in the relegation zone, how is the mentality then? As with the last 2 seasons we have found out that once you’re amongst it as we are it is very difficult to get away from it with the pressures involved.

No one is saying another 26 points are nailed on.

The point people are making is that so far this season we have averaged 1.3 points per game which would take us to a final points total of 49/50 points if we were to maintain that.

Why is the assumption that we’re suddenly going to regress to relegation form for the second half of the season?

Last 3 games.
L3. Negative GD -6.

Just seen the Forest result.
We're in trouble again.
So fragile and lacking in depth, a couple of injuries and we're all at sea.

I don't even think its a couple of injuries, it just seems to be if Doucoure isn't available he doesn't know what to do. I'm sure we lost all 3 games he was suspended for after his Spurs sending off last season as well.

We’ve played 2 top teams and a team that is unbeaten in 8 now at home with wins against City, Spurs and Chelsea in that run. Disappointing to lose all 3 but all very tough games. Next few are tough as well so could be a tricky time, at least we should get Doucoure back and have more of a rest between games.
