If it's another defeat against Palace, then we really will be knee deep in the brown stuff.

Barring us getting some points back in the appeal, then a win against Palace is crucial to boost our survival hopes.

I think it's been the middle of December since we last won a league game. No matter how many different ways you try and dice it, going almost two months without a league win is not exactly an encouraging sign.

Palace is simply a must win game, I'm not even contemplating a draw (which wouldn't be far off a disaster imo).

Doucoure is running again apparently so another 9 days and him and Onana will be ready to start and you suspect they'll be the difference against a physical but very defensive minded Palace.

In that time we’ve played City and Spurs twice and Villa at home. Our only other league games have been away to Fulham and Wolves, we’ve had 3 FA Cup games in that month. Context is simply everything. Not many people had us picking up any points from Villa, Fulham, Spurs and City, and we got 3 from them. We move onto a more normal fixture schedule and now all our rivals have to play the top teams.
