I've not enjoyed the club and the league for 5+ years (Carlo was a dream) and it's only gonna get worse IMO across the board.

Staying in the top flight is just reputational personally.

Given that Brentford will most likely pick up sufficient points given the severely punished Toney returns today I suppose it would be better if Notts Forest lose today

I’m not convinced that the reintroduction of Toney makes it likely that Brentford will pick up sufficient points. He isn’t the Brazilian Ronaldo, and Brentford have a run of fixtures from hell after today’s game. A draw would be best for us imo.

He might never get the opportunity ever again though, and it’s probably as good a group of players and as good an opportunity to win a tournament as we’ll have in a long time. I think he’d jump at the offer if it’s a choice between that or trying to get Will Hughes and Jeffrey Schlupp to play football.
