Battered ? Really.
The spurs 2nd half was the best we played all season. Morale didn't suffer at all.
I honestly believe people should not bother watching football at all. It makes them go a little insane.

Could have easily gone out to Villa, play the under 21's and realise our priorities in a league decided to screw us. If we focus on survival hopefully they pick someone else to be the sacrificial lamb next year. Bookings and injuries and fatigue picked up in a nonsense cup have proven totally not worth it. We need points and soon, 'cos the sooner we get dragged into the mire by the really rubbish sides the sooner they get confidence.

We are absolutely DESPERATE for a cup win.

Your post said nothing about Villa game, and makes no sense still, as we beat Villa and went on a run.

Are you saying our greatest ever manager Howard Kendall was wrong when he said he always wanted a good cup run to kickstart the season?

After the Wolves game, we’ve got Palace in the cup. The likes of McNeil and Garner who haven’t missed a game in December can sit that out so they’re fresh for the Villa game the following week, then we have another 2 weeks off. Need everyone fresh and fit for the second half of the season.

You go with your strongest team every game for me, no matter what, and i will always want it that way. Injuries can easily happen in training as much as they can in the match.
