Just me being lazy and seeing you had no shots on target ment he wasn’t playing. Worrying.. but he should be enough to keep you up you’d imagine
In fairness, he started the season on fire scoring 4 in the first month. Since then he has netted twice more, but his last goal came in October. So he, like the rest of the team, is bang out of form and I wouldn't go counting on him to single-handedly keep them up with goals.

I sense an opportunity here v Utd.
Brutal week for them.

It does feel like every time we've had a break we've gone in thinking it's what we need but come out of it playing worse. Especially after the world cup break. I wonder if that just speaks volumes about the standard of coaching we've had though. Dyche has a more clear thought of what he wants to do so a couple of extra weeks to drill them in it is probably welcome.
Let's hope so 🙏

Agree. I don't get on board with there being a conspiracy against us in particular, just that there is a high level of incompetence, and VAR hasn't been the leveller that people hoped it would.

Someone posted the other day that we have now gone 100 games since an opponent had a player sent off against us. I find it unbelievable that there hasn't been a single red card challenge or incident against us over that period. Makes it harder to fathom when we get the decisions like Allan against Newcastle last year.
Especially if you saw Shelvey on Gordon, the Palace lad (Ayew?) on Gordon and Van Dyke on Onana this season!!!! That’s just off the top of my head!!

The only must wins are fulham and Bournemouth at home.
With the exception of city we have a shot against everyone else.
It's clear what dyche is trying to do and I do think the players are getting better at it.
Chelsea will be interesting as he won't have to go as defensive as he did at the Emirates but they are still a very dangerous side.

There are 9 clubs in this and of all 9 managers, I'm glad we have Dyche. He's by far the most experienced at this carry on.
Even City aren’t the same team this year and I suspect their eyes are firmly on the Champions league. Getting them in between the semi final matches is as good as we really could hope for and you just never know.

We need back-to-back unlikely wins like we had last year v Chelsea and Leicester. If we could do that it would take so much of the pressure off.
What we desperately need I think is just as away win under dyche to get us going. He was unlucky that his first 2 aways were Liverpool and arsenal and the next 2 are Chelsea and united. The performance at forest was encouraging, it was a shame we couldn’t hold on to win that. I agree though we do need back to back wins or just an unbeaten run, just hope we avoid 2 or 3 defeats in these next 3 games.
