The complete silence and lack of activity from Everton at this point to me smacks of a team that has completely resigned itself to its fate. Friday showed we can have some fight and spirit but with absolutely no options up front we can’t survive in this league, and the board seemingly have no plans to change any of this. We’re entering some extremely dark times as a club I am afraid. Times which we probably will never return from.
Right Donny Downer you mate.
I can sympathise though, the are very few, if any it seems, decent candidates even willing to take it on and pobably not much money spend anyway.
I'm of a mind to just let Frank stay on, safety or Championship and reasses in June.
I have a sneaky feeling that, over the years, the collective 'They' - Owners various, Managers numerous and latterly, the Ds of F...and others (in this club is the collective name for Ds of F called An Impotence of DoFs?)
Have combined to bring about a special set of circumstances that have broken the Club almost beyond repair.
And
That it will take another set of special circumstances to put it back together...or are we already in total Humpty-Dumpty mode?
Years in the future people will look at EFC, like they do those Easter Island statues and ask...
What happened there, what was all that about, how did it happen?
