Mate, he was superb in Portugal playing for a better team with better players, maybe he could do the same for us...wasn't Pienaar [Poor language removed] in Germany and Arteta [Poor language removed] in Spain???, did alright for us....

He's a striker who scored 1 goal in 25 league appearances. I've not seen a great deal of him, but that's a shocking stat for a striker. If I remember rightly, the goal he did score was a bit of a fluke vs us, although in fairness, it was the shot/cross he connected with that was flukey. Still, it was harder for him to miss.

-Mats Moller Daehlie from Cardiff. Fantastic player AND young (19). With the Norwegian attitude to go with it, he could be the next Solskjaer. Quick, technical and a boss finisher. A good replacement for Deulofeu (if he doesn't sign for another year).
-Gary Medel also from Cardiff as an alternative to Barry (if he signs)/McCarthy/Gibson. Good passer and rough in the tackles. And a great eye for the goal.
-Johan Elmander, Norwich. Insane finisher that only needs a little self-esteem.

Dejagah is actually a very good shout as a squad player on a free. He certainly knows how to turn a game on its head from the bench and it can't hurt us to have another player who can execute a shot properly from long range when teams park the bus against us at Goodison.

Mitroglou on loan, was Olympaikos's main striker until he moved to Fulham, surely worth a shot
