REFEREE FOR THE DERBY

Looked to me like Anichebe was pushed, if anything.

I reckon the MOTD lot will be all over the two key decisions in today's games: the Distin legitimate goal chalked off and the apparent push on Rooney that allowed Chelsea in to score.

That'll be the theme tonight on that show. And if there's any honesty they'll do what they did with Liverpool's 'winner' in the Goodison Derby and say one team were denied a victory.

Still fuming that he allowed Gerrard to call him 'A ****ing ****house'... England Captain ladies and gents.

It was petulant little battle of minds with Anichebe that caused him to disallow that goal. He had spoken to Vic before the corner was taken and told him to mind his pushing. Then when Reina threw hinself to the ground the ref assumed that Vic had pushed him and was being a naughty boy because he wasn't doing what he had just been told to do. Result - goal disallowed and yellow card for Anichebe which was totally unjustified. Pure power trip on the ref's part which cost us 2 points.

Just applaud the ref mate, we've had loads in the derby go for us

I'd place big money on him being spoken to about looking out for that stuff regarding Vic at corners. They'll have made it known pre-KO that they expect him to govern that situation tightly. That's ok for them to try and get that message across. It's not ok for him to swallow it and let them ref the corners of the game.

Gerrard clearly said to the ref "F*ckin' shi*house, f*ckin shi*house" How is that not dissent?

He also battered along with four mates a DJ in Southport and that wasn't assault.

Fame and fortune buy an awful lot of people off.

Bottle job from yet another professional referee. Where do the FA find them? It is regretful because it has become so 'par for the course', so expected that it doesnt even register as the farce it actually is.

Ho hum, onto next season and lets see which yellow bellied snivelling coward turns up.
