Couple of questions lads:
Is it worth the extra to get a 4G phone right now? I want something like a galaxy S3 but £36 a month on 4G through T-mobile sounds a bit stiff. I'm not arsed about having the latest and greatest but do want something good.
I also want to keep my current defy handset for mountain biking as it's a very rugged phone. What's the best way of having an internet-enabled phone (for maps) for occasional use? I was thinking you could just swap the sims over but maybe they would be different and you can't? Can you get a pay as you go sim with a data quota?
Thks - I know nowt about phones really.

Mrs got the Galaxy Note 2 on 4G from work (for free).
Was never too impressed with it due to the size. It's waaay too big.
BUT as a business related phone in terms of document editing, building and presentations... It impressive.
Clearly a phone build for a certain market than an every day use phone.
The multitasking and multi app stuff (YouTube videos playing over the home screens, size adjustments etc) is also clever
Any phone you can't use properly with one hand is a no go.
I'm not going to ask what you're doing with the other hand........

I know it's big, but once you get used to it it's a blinking ace phone. Almost tempted to ditch my iPhone for it.
My mate has put stock android on it, he said it runs some 230ish processes in the background. After going vanilla he said the battery life is immense.
Anyone ever bought a pay monthly phone online and not through the likes of carphone warehouse or phones4u; Dialaphone for example?
It's very common. Just check quidco or top cashback first to see if they have a deal on. Join the Everton conversation today.
