Well the iPhone is gonna have to be something special to compete. I just don't see Apple making a big change to their ecosystem.

They really need to get off the 3.5" form factor.

Nonetheless, I am gonna enjoy my GS3!! I will Instagram a picture of it when I get it.

Whoops, put myself in the doghouse abit!!! Evidently I didn't tell the wife my phone purchasing plans until I mentioned it offhand today. Needless to say she wasn't impressed.

Gonna ride this one out surfing the GS3!!!

iO6 has confirmed i will be moving to a windows mobile when the next iteration comes out?

Good Lync, Sharepoint and Exchange support means i can use it in work.

Byee boring iOS

If you think iOS is 'boring' then you'll have a great time with Windows Phone and it's non-existant app ecosystem. It's still about 2 years behind Android and iOS functionality wise too.

The main reason I swerved WP7.5 was the fixed resolution. It wasn't quite high enough to sate my needs, which is why I am getting a 720p screened monster!!!

For ease of use, iOS and WP7 trump everyone. They are smooth and simple. Android has more bells and whistles, and now it has been paired with a powerhouse (in the One X and the S3) that can finally make it shine.

Anyway you go, you are getting a good smartphone.

And time for the pointless sayings:

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they all stink.
To each his own
Horses for courses
etc...etc...etc....

You can't tell someone what is best for them based on what is best for you. Its a bit daft (unless we are talking Apple computers, then you can tell them they are trumped up Linux boxes)

I am waiting for the Galaxy S5 before making the jump. I hear it is gonna have a hexa-core processor, a 47" Ultra HD screen (8192x4096 resolution), and 47Gb RAM and will to be plugged in to the wall to use it.

I've heard the trim phone is the way to go, comes in lots of nifty colours.
