realistic transfer improvements

We have young players for centre half but nothing up front other than the two we play consistently Alcaraz being out I think we will see more of the kids but I liked what I seen of Kjær very good CB

Obviously don't watch the Bundesliga if you think Kjaer plays for Wolfsburg.......
Whoops, Perisic obviously. Kjaer would be an excellent signing though. Again, probably not cheap and I'd have a hard time imagining us buying anyone from a Europa rival in January. To my credit, Kjaer played for Wolfsburg for a while though I only just started watching the Bundesliga this season.

A certain amount of justice would be served if Moyes got the Sociedad job and then had to deal with us bidding for his best player, of course he would do what was best for the lads career so negotiations should be quite straight forward.

That would be very funny actually. If we were to go for a CB I think Winston Reid from West Ham would be a good shout, out of contract next summer so a sneaky bid could be launched in January, could be a long term partner for Stones. Begovic would still be my number 1 target all the same.

looks like deulofeu has absolutely no chance at barca. The manager doesn't fancy him and refuses to even speak about him and the player has stunk the place out at sevilla this year. I was not his biggest fan when he was here but he is so quick on his day he can destroy teams. Maybe a sneaky 8/10 m bid could get him. Their valuation of around 30m euros last year was crazy.

Still think Nathan Redmound would be a decent signing for us, also seen another young winger playing for Birmingham a couple of weeks ago, Damari (sp?) Grey, could be a cheaper option , saying that our priority should be a first team player of Miralles quality and a CB.

Looks raw as hell that Grey lad. Reminded me quite a lot of Sterling though.

According to Wiki he has only played four games for Sevilla in all comps this season scoring once, he was an unused sub again last weekend. I think we have a good chance of getting him in the summer maybe even on loan in January if his loan gets terminated, the lad still follows our results and tweets about us from time to time, I'm sure he'd rather be here now given the choice despite the weather.

It's interesting that the sevilla manager say's he needs to start offering something defensively, and needs to change his attitude. The lad has a massive ego and finds defending beneath him but I think we can get a tune out of him.

Perhaps Nolito may not be an option after all.

Perhaps the surprise is that he is still there at all. In the summer, there was the chance to go to England; a huge contract was placed before him. “So why didn’t you?” Nolito was asked this during an interview on Al Primer Toque radio show last week. “Because it’s cold, it rains a lot and the food’s bad,” he replied. “Besides,” he added, “I’m happy here. Why would I change? I earn enough money. My family is poor [originally], I’m poor [originally], and I’m happy with what I’ve got. What do I need more for? Greed rips the bag.”

Wanyama didn't look out of place in CL a few seasons back v the likes of Barcelona in fact he was a stand out .. lacks real pace but sitting midfield is his best role breaking up play .. Took a bit of time to find his feet at both Celtic & Southampton but would be a great signing. Head & shoulders above Song even at this stage of his career.

I'd love him back here. One of the best impact subs we've ever had.

Shame because he'd be an absolutely cracking signing. 5 goals and 5 assists so far this term - ripped us a new one in pre-season. Quick, good vision and passing and a top finisher as well.

Ayew being linked would be good but I can't see a January signing because he'd be missing for the ACON - more than likely a pre-contract for the summer if it were to happen. I do think that's the area we need to go for - and probably the defence could be sorted next year
