think he filled in for wales one game at centre back and was pretty brilliant imo. he's going to be a top player, another one who's made an utterly terrible choice to go to spurs though - what he's doing behind danny rose i'll never know. good shout though, levy's too good to deal with though. i fancy him to take us to the cleaners for any of their players, but they have so many that would do better here than there.

way too early to be talking about these kind of things, budget and realities depend on if we get CL, Europa or neither. would love begovic, kjaer perisic and then another striker like berahino - if we qualify for CL that's well within our budget. bif IF at the moment though.

As far as priorities go really depends on how good our kids are, LW is priority but I think ST needs addressing before CB, I don't rate Gibsons chances of staying fit so I'd love a Delph or Song there to fight for a place, especially since they offer a different aspect of gameplay

Perisic is a 'must go after' case I. January - class player and eill improve us

If not we might do worse then going back in for Deulofeu

Agreed CB and LW need improvement in January. I wouldn't be surprised if Atsu went back to Chelsea. Are we still looking at Ayew? Kjaer always looks great, I follow Wolfsburg in the BL. He's a great player, so I don't know why they'd want to sell. Certainly not for cheap.

I know Bobby said he doesn't need cover for Stones in the week but with the loss of Alcaraz it must be crossing his mind.

I think we need a centre half and a winger in January and possibly a goalkeeper (but that's unlikely in Jan).

Of the top of my head Winston Reid for a centre half, and possibly Podolski but I have a feeling Arsenal will ask for a lot and his wages will be high so probably not realistic...

For once I would like to agree on a Danish player. Kjær is all action, loves the physical aspect of the game and is IMO well suited for the PL. He has had great success in Serie A, but a high profile move to Wolfsburg did not work out and he was sold to Lille. He has since established himself in the Danish national side as one of the two first choice CBs - Agger being the other one.

When we played Lille, the Danish commentators actually mentioned that Lille should be a stepping board for a bigger club, preferbly in the PL and Everton with our aging defense would be an excellent fit.

Bruno Martins Indi was all the rage before the world cup, but in truth he was awful. Worse than Distin on the ball and slow as a wet week, couldn't see what all the fuss was about. He made Ron Vlaar look like Franco Baresi.
